Yuzu's Summer Anime '11 Overview

So, within the first month of the new Summer anime of '11, I've pulled up this beautiful (not really) blog for you guys to read about what I've been watching, and suggestions if you might wanna watch it, or if you read this, and you do watch it... so. mull about it, and see if you like!
On with the show :D
((It is a little rushed, as you can see, but exam time IS coming soon, so hopefully I'll be back with some new things~~ ))

Ikoku Meiro no Croisee
The story takes place in the second half of the 19th century, as Japanese culture gains popularity in the West. A young Japanese girl, Yune, accompanies a French traveller, Oscar, on his journey back to France, and offers to help at the family's ironwork shop in Paris. Oscar's nephew and shopowner Claude reluctantly accepts to take care of Yune, and we learn how those two, who have so little in common, get to understand each other and live together in the Paris of the 1800s.
Yuzu’s Overview:
We’re in about the 5th episode so far, and I can honestly tell you I’m lovin it. (Like McDonalds ;D )) I’m absolutely loving Yune, and her adorable chibi Japanese girly aura, and Claude. The way he’s drawn and animated in the anime looks so much like Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle with blond hair is INSANE. Instant love. Not to mention the completely sweet moments that Yune and Claude Claudel (Seriously, that’s actually his last name) have, despite the total age gap.
The other old pervert looking guy in the background is Claude Claudel’s uncle, as his parents died, and he is the one who brought Yune to Claude. ( ITS TRUE LOVE FOREVER, I SWEAR IT. ) and the blonde  girl is this Oriental loving wannabe.

.hack//INFECTION

Guess what?  Yeah, a review for another PS2 game! Yay! It wasn't called the best selling console of all time for no reason. XD

MAI WAIFU.

So... I picked up this game pre-owned at Gamestop EBGames for 17 bucks (am I doing it rite?) and it came with a bonus 'get it free for 17 bucks' 45 minute "anime dvd" to sweeten the deal. (Why buy one disc when you can have two? Asian ideology ftw) Both disc and manual were in pretty good condition (not much scratches no obvious tears etc...), which was a good sign.  ^____^

Fanta Bottle.

okay... now that thats over and done with, ive been away from internet and technology for a few weeks (finally back :D ) with nothing to do so me and my brother whip out the old PS2 and start playing games and OMFG I AM ADDICTED TO THIS ONE GAME IT IS LIKE THE BEST EVER!.Its so simple and I love it. its called ESPN WinterXGames Snowboarding.

made in 2002 I know and yeah so the aim of the game is to compete in many different forms of snowbording  competitions and do like awesome tricks but heres the thing, its not the whole , complex amount of buttons oh wow you did a grab!, not its just tilt the thing back and wow its a fricken backflip :O.
so the different things you can do is, like, racing, half-pipe and slopesyle and yada, anywasys long story short, super fun.
another cool thing is the characters you play as are like, real people, and real snowboarders going down to even the tiniest detail such as where they live to what snowboard they use.
and to top it all off the graphics aren't that bad for 2002.

so now that ive finished wasting your time by talking about some game on the PS2 I hope you will now go and playy it and see what I have been rambling on about :P

KHR 344

A wizard magically deleted my reviews for the past... 5 chapters so I couldn’t upload them in time and it’d be a horrible torturous process to re-type them again.
Nope, I wasn't wasting valuable review time watching youtube poop, why would you even think that anyway >.>

Ok, maybe just a little...

So a quick summary of what’s going on so far...

PIXEL COOKIES.

Hi there.  Um... yeah...
There aren't really going to be many posts for a looooong time (a month maybe?) because everyone has school, exams and stuff or are just lazy.  >.>  Yep, exams and procrastination, eternal enemy of bloggers, fic writers and artists everywhere.

Since we're here, I might as well do something useful.  So here.  You might of heard of Infinity Blade, and this is one awesome looking app. You're this knight guy and you explore a castle and defeat things to level up and get money to buy stronger weapons so you can defeat stronger things and level up even further and so on until you can kill the big kahuna and get the infinity blade.   Or you die and get reincarnated as your previous character's son and do exactly the same thing all over again (you get to keep the exp and items and gold you got) The story is a bit dry and the gameplay a little limited, but it's got great graphics and fluid animation.  The rendering is AMAZING.  ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AMAZING.  ON AN IPHONE. why am i reccing iphone apps? *hits the bandwagon*  A downside is you need wifi to play but hey, small sacrifice for such awesome graphics.

LOLOLOLOL.

...
Okay, I'll just go and play Super Mario bros. and wangst over how Nintendo hard it is...
